This FMTouch program is simple to use, and it is a powerful tool to manage health care history. What is health care history?
As an individual or a family you have occasional illness or injury. Most of us who get sick or injured tend to ignore our health history, or information related to the sickness. We can not afford to do this anymore. Insurance companies demand accurate information related to illness or they will not fully pay doctor bills.
The A1 Health History program is unique in that it can be taken anywhere on the iPhone or iPodTouch. You can also use it on your computer and sync data between the computer and iPodTouch/iPhone. You can visit your doctor and have your full health history with you. While your at the doctor you can add additional data.
A bigger benefit is the tracking of insurance billing and payment history. As an illness happens there are doctor visits, and medical procedures that are performed. Doctor bills are not like any other service. You will not get a quote for services. You may not get a billing for weeks that establishes your part of the cost, and what the insurance company has paid. If there are errors in the billing, or the bills are unclear you will need to refer to your health history to support any disputes.
Another large cost is the ongoing medication that you need to stay well. This is also be tracked in the A1 Health History. This program can be used for any form of health care service, to include dentists, elder care, all form of medical support or products.
Purpose of Database Files:
A1 Health History; this file screen is the main menu for the database. It is used to add a record for each individual illness or injury. This is because the billing and treatment is related to the records for this illness or injury. If you have a ongoing illness, you may want to break up the main record by major events in the treatment.
Health Illness Record; this screen has the health record data at the top of the record, and the portal for entering the data about the illness. This is filled as soon as the service is provided so that data is not lost.
Health Record Detail; this is a iPhone friendly layout that is used to allow faster entry of the illness data for the phone or iPodTouch.
Primary Insurance Co.; this screen is the background information for your primary insurance company. This record is for ONE entry for each primary insurer you may have. There may be more than one company due to a coverage difference. This record can be for different coverage like general medicine, dental, eye care and so on. Create only one record for each primary company.
Primary Insurance Billing; this file screen is a part of each individual illness record. It is directly related to the illness by record id. The data for the illness is added to this record screen. See the comments for usage at the sample record #1.
